Dataset Metadata Analysis

Once the steps for defining the dataset have been completed, it is possible to analyze the returned information. In the Metadata tab, for each column the following details are shown:

  • Data Type: the type of the returned data

  • Role: Attribute / Measure

  • Description: a custom description can be added

  • Personal Data: whether the data content is of a personal nature

  • Encrypted: whether the data content is encrypted

  • Represents a Subject: whether the data content represents a subject

These last pieces of information are mainly used to support encryption functionalities.

Advanced Tab Options

In the Advanced tab, it is possible to persist the dataset information in cache, but only for non-parametric datasets.
