Dataset Metadata Analysis
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Once the steps for defining the dataset have been completed, it is possible to analyze the returned information. In the **Metadata** tab, for each column the following details are shown:



- **Data Type**: the type of the returned data  
- **Role**: `Attribute` / `Measure`  
- **Description**: a custom description can be added  
- **Personal Data**: whether the data content is of a personal nature  
- **Encrypted**: whether the data content is encrypted  
- **Represents a Subject**: whether the data content represents a subject

These last pieces of information are mainly used to support encryption functionalities.

Advanced Tab Options

In the **Advanced** tab, it is possible to persist the dataset information in cache, but **only for non-parametric datasets**.
